This photo is a counterpoint to yesterday's posting. It was taken last Saturday in Davis, California, a university town of some 68,000 inhabitans sometimes referred to as "The Bicycle Capital of the U.S." because of the city's high rate of bicycle use (with estimates of 20 - 25% of all trips being made by bicycle)

Beautiful image! The color, contrast, composition is perfect. I like the interplay with symmetry and asymmetry - it is a great visual metaphor for the crowded urban landscape.
